G5 ATX Case Mod

My objective with this project was to use a case that I honestly have liked for many years as a modern, ATX PC; the Mac G5 / Mac Pro case! The lovely, large aluminum chassis that used to remind people of a cheese grater, well… until the actual cheese grater was released.

I wanted to turn this case into an elegant looking gaming PC, complete with an AMD processor and a graphics card that would actually allow me to play RDR2 at a reasonable frame-rate. I also want to run OS X and Windows on one machine.

Here is my parts list:

Additionally, I used the case mod kit from TheLaserHive to handle the PCI slots and motherboard mounts. There are other kits out there, but I found this one to my liking.
